.XXX domain approved by ICANN for explicit sites

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, which manages the assignment of domain names and IP Addresses have recently approved the top level domain (e.g. .com, .org, .net) .xxx, meant for sexually explicit sites.

But hold your horses first. This isn't because the fellas at ICANN are dirty-minded, this is meant to make it easier for parents to block sexually explicit sites to prevent their kids from visiting them, be it on accident or otherwise. So, by simply blocking all .xxx sites, explicit sites using that domain cannot be visited.
